Okwahu United of North America is deeply committed to sustainable community transformation through education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. Guided by our signature Adopt-A-Village initiative, our projects are designed to uplift every corner of Kwahu State — ensuring that no child, family, or community is left behind.

🏫 Education: Building Foundations for the Future

We believe that education is the cornerstone of progress. Through partnerships with Kwahuman associations across North America, we are creating learning environments where children can dream bigger and achieve more.

Oyemso Primary School Block — Constructed to serve over 180 students, providing a modern and safe space for quality learning.
Hwehwe ICT Center — A digital learning hub improving academic performance, with students now recording 100% pass rates.
Kwahu Praso Model School & ICT Center — Bridging opportunities for children across Kwahu Praso and the Ashanti side of the River Pra.
Okraagyei School Block — Built to accommodate over 200 students from five neighboring communities, nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Healthy communities are thriving communities. Our healthcare projects bring vital medical services closer to home and provide equipment that saves lives every day.

Abepotia Community Health Center Renovation — Expanding care and reducing pressure on Nkawkaw Roman Hospital.
Kwahu-Aduhima Health Center Facelift — Serving over 300 patients monthly, including mothers and infants.
Nkyenekye Clinic Renovation & Equipment Donation — Delivering $32,000 in renovations and supplies for 12 communities.
Medical Equipment Support — Donated hospital beds and materials to 17 facilities across Kwahu.
KIVA Health Support Initiative — Empowering 25 clinics with blood pressure monitors to combat hypertension.
Obo-Kwahu Ultramodern Surgical Center — A state-of-the-art facility serving 32 communities — a landmark of compassion and community leadership.

🎓 Adopt-A-Student Program: Investing in Human Capital

Under the broader Adopt-A-Village umbrella, the Adopt-A-Student program ensures that every child, regardless of circumstance, has the chance to learn and thrive.
In its first year alone, 66 students were sponsored from primary to secondary levels — many taken off the streets and placed back in classrooms, now excelling as future professionals and leaders.
